David and Chris Kurtz

David has been competing in Agility since 2011. In 2013, he was fortunate to team up with Snips, with whom he has competed on both the international and national level including several trips to the finals and the podium. Together, they won the UKI US Open Nationals in consecutive years (2016/17), competed on the Bronze-winning Team USA at WAO in 2017 and were alternates for the WAO team in 2019. He also runs Kyber, who has been atop the podium at the US Open and West Coast Open on multiple occasions, including winning the UKI US Open Nationals in 2023. Kyber was also a member of Team USA at the Senior World Agility Championships in 2024 and 2025, where she placed 4th and 11th in the Individual competition.

A former Vet Tech, Chris' Agility journey with Bo-Katan is in its early stages, but Chris has been in and around Agility and dog training for over a decade.
